PlaySmart recently installed a 32sqm area of wet pour playground surfacing for Tibberton Play Area. Wychavon District Council contacted PlaySmart for a custom wet pour solution for their small play area.
The Council’s Playground Design:
The council asked for a blue colour to match their district logo colour. However, they also wanted to save on costs for the small space. Because of these cost requriements, we suggested a blue with black fleck option. This created a dark blue effect for their wet pour area.
They playground required safety surfacing underneath a large swing set. The area needed a 32sqm area of safety surfacing to provide full protection to users of the swing set.
The Wet Pour Playground Surfacing we Provided:
The 8m x 4m swing bay required a Critical Fall Height of up to 1.7m, so we installed our RubbaSmart surfacing at 60mm thickness.
Just 5 days after the installation, Wychavon District Council contacted us to let us know how happy they were with it. We loved hearing such positive feedback from the council.
