Wet Pour Playground - Wychavon Case Study

PlaySmart recently installed a 32sqm area of wet pour playground surfacing at Tibberton Play Area for Wychavon District Council. 

The council asked for a blue colour to match their district logo colour. They also wanted to save on costs for the small space. To reduce costs, we suggested a blue with black fleck option. This ultimately would create a dark blue effect for their wet pour area. The result is a vibrant blue that does not look overly bright or out of place in the context of the natural playground surroundings.

The 8m x 4m swing bay required a Critical Fall Height of up to 1.7m, so we installed our RubbaSmart surfacing at 60mm thickness. The rubber wet pour provides surface protection from falls to reduce the risk of injuries for children using the equipment.

Just 5 days after the installation was completed, Wychavon District Council got in contact with us to let us know how happy they were with it, which is always lovely to hear!
