In 2016 PlaySmart provided new outdoor feature surfacing for Washwood Heath Academy in Birmingham. This featured their logo in eye-catching, vibrant rubber colours.
We worked closely with the Building Services Team and the School Council to discuss the best options for them and their surfaces. Ultimately, we decided on a combination of practical JungleMulch feature areas around benches and bright colour wetpour for the main surface.
These surfacing materials meet the requirements for colour scheme and outdoor feature designs they were looking for. But also, crucially, these choices create a safe, long-lasting play area. The vibrant design colours are perfect for children to enjoy and really bring a sense of excitement to the playground.
Notably this design included a bespoke school logo in the wetpour rubber. We used vibrant colour for this design to create a worthwhile centre-peice for this project that we know the children will love.
