PlaySmart and Abbott Construction were chosen to create an exciting, vibrant play space for The Dogs Trust. We provided a safety surfacing poured design in the shape of a bone as a centerpiece to brighten up the space.
Founded in 1891, Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. The charity cares for over 17,000 dogs each year in their national rehoming centres. We are honoured to have helped create a fun, vibrant outdoor space for our canine friends.
PlaySmart created a range of areas in the outdoor space to provide variety and diversity for the dogs to enjoy. We installed surfacing around fountains and brightly coloured ‘puppy playpens’ for the smaller residents!
We chose a safety surfacing poured design with RubbaSmart wetpour surfacing. RubbaSmart addresses safety concerns and provides a stable, flat surface perfect for animals and people.
Additionally, we used the Dogs Trust signature colours to create a large bone design that everyone enjoyed. We designed this centerpiece to bring the playground theme together with the vibrant aesthetics of the site for a great final result.
