You’ll be pleased to know that looking after your EPDM surface couldn’t be easier, and rubber mulch maintenance is quite simple. However, PlaySmart always recommends that you regularly check up on your surfaces; the earlier you spot any potential damages or issues, the faster it can be solved without developing into a costly repair.
With EPDM, we recommend occasionally using a low-pressure hose with warm water on the surface to gently wash away any grime or debris buildup. This will help wash dirt through to the base and away from the surface. Additionally, you may want to keep an eye out for any pesky weeds poking through – the bonded rubber surface makes for effective weed control, but we all know how persistent they can be! Occasionally checking for any weeds poking through the surface will help you keep on top of your EPDM Mulch remaining perfect all year round.
