Local Authorities
Parish, City, and County Councils Across the UK Specify PlaySmart products as their Preferred Safety Surfacing Solution for Public Parks and Playgrounds.
What We Do
By specifying PlaySmart, Parish/City/County Council Leaders and Public Stakeholders know they are delivering exceptional surfacing solutions tailored to community needs. They know that our sustainable, safe solutions enhance safety, durability, and playfulness in local spaces.
We use our extensive knowledge and varied surfacing range to work with Public Planners and Council Architects in order to provide the best environmental solutions for individual projects. Once specified, we work with contractors or directly for Councils to deliver a comprehensive installation service. This ensures the maximum longevity possible for the safety surface and therefore the best return on investment.
Safe Surfacing for Public Parks
Did you know, PlaySmart also offers bespoke landscaping and maintenance solutions to Councils for soft landscaping projects?
We offer a diverse range of innovative safety surfacing solutions from traditional rubber wet pour and mulch to new and innovative options like hybrid grass and cork flooring. We create vibrant playground designs for durable sports surfaces, our products are engineered for safety, quality, and longevity across a variety of settings.
With Corkeen, we provide a carbon-negative alternative to traditional wetpour. Corkeen is Carbon Negative and made from sustainably sourced and fully recyclable cork.
Our fire retardant rubber grass mats FireSmart are a favourite of many councils looking to keep costs down. Combining our rubber grass mats with our patented Smart Play shock pad provides an increased Critical Fall Height at a low cost. This system also prevents grass mats from sinking, which maintains compliance with safety regulations.
